Purple Light District launches at the renowned Shoreditch venue XOYO.
The night will commence with performances from the best emerging musicians who are both unique and authentic. As part of the journey , Purple light district will be showcasing art in its purist form via art installations , conceptual shoots and music performances to a private audience on the Friday 18th September 2015.
Purple Light District will have special installations in memory of those we have lost through unjustified and unscrupulous means.
A percentage of proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to BlackOutLDN , who staged a successful peaceful protest on 15th August 2015 at London's U.S Embassy in solidarity with those we have lost in the United States due to police brutality and institutionalised racism. The proceeds will help them build a platform to educate, empower and encourage many of the youths from BAME communities across London. Their role is simply to be a voice for those experiencing injustice. Their stance is that black lives matter and that equality should not be a mere statement but an act by which we should all live by. Our brand does not benefit from this cause. Our belief is firmly rooted in helping our community to be a better place for our next generation. After all, today's youth ARE tomorrows future.
At present the tickets are £20.00. We would encourage you to purchase the tickets in order to support homegrown talent and be part of a forward thinking movement to alleviate bigger issues in society. As a brand we emphasise that this is bigger than music.
Come along to celebrate life and the many talents that exist in our society. Remember talent is a gift and is something to be shared with the world.
