Seeds of Elevation presents its first documentary titled 'The Man in the Mirror'. This documentary will provide a unique portrayal of a young African man, Suraj Odekunle who was once a victimised youth.
This documentary will supply young people with a visual presentation of how they can "strive to be the best they can be" with positive thoughts and actions. Letting them know that it is never too late to turn a negative into a positive no matter the circumstances or situation. Topics explored in the documentary are Mental Health, Foster care/Fostering, Sexual Abuse, Physical Abuse, Incarceration and Gang Crime. Guest features include Andrew Muhammad (The Investigator), Leah Salmon (Founder & Director of Teaching Our Own), Charmaine Simpson (Director & Founder of Black History Studies) and Cheryl Phoenix (Director of UK Black Links – Purple Pages).
